As a Product Owner, you will take ownership of selected products / functional areas and shape them bearing in mind the needs and expectations of over 1 million customers of Zonda. You will be a part of the business team that drives innovation in multiple areas including crypto-related products, payment systems, our trading platform as well as new solutions in the crypto space. You will never be bored and you can expect to learn a lot about the blockchain/cryptocurrency industry. 

You will be working in a distributed environment where most of the team works remotely. 


Responsibilities / What you will:

  • Own short-term solution roadmap and long-term objectives
  • Build a thorough understanding of your customers & stakeholders, anticipating the features they want and then help deliver them
  • Serve as a bridge between stakeholders, our Engineering and UX to maximize the value we deliver to our customers 
  • Identify customer needs and business opportunities through a combination of research, feedback collection from cross-functional teams, and analyzing competitors
  • Develop and maintain product backlog to ensure project transparency for all the stakeholders and team members
  • Proactively resolve issues: You will work with the team and project stakeholders to resolve priority conflicts, dependencies and communication gaps.


What we expect:

  • Minimum 3-4 years of professional experience in a role of a Product Owner,
  • Communication skills allowing you to cooperate smoothly with other team members and project stakeholders,
  • Proactive approach and self-responsibility 
  • The ability to analyze the needs of customers and describe them in the form of functional requirements,
  • Openness to ask numerous questions aimed at understanding the concept of the matter being analyzed,
  • The ability to map existing requirements into use cases/user stories with accompanied acceptance criteria,
  • Analytical thinking 
  • Good command of English - ability to create documentation in the English language and fluent communication with the international team.


It’s a plus if you have:

  • Experience in the financial/blockchain/crypto industry,
  • Knowledge of payments/banking/trading,
  • Knowledge of UX/UI issues.

Your personal data will be processed for the recruitment process and conclusion of a B2B contract with Expofer Servis House s.r.o. - to the extent of personal data necessary to conduct the recruitment process and to conclude a B2B contract with Expofer Servis house s.r.o. on the basis of Article 6(1)(b) RODO, while other data provided by the person participating in the recruitment process on the basis of your consent, which can be revoked at any time.
  4. The controller will process your personal data also for the purpose of using them for future recruitment processes conducted by Expofer Servis House s.r.o., if you give additional consent to their processing for the above purpose, which consent can be revoked at any time.
  5. Providing data to the extent necessary for the recruitment process is mandatory and necessary to carry out the recruitment process, while providing other personal data is voluntary.
  6. Your personal data may be disclosed to entities providing legal, accounting and HR services to the Administrator, as well as to entities cooperating with the Administrator, in particular to persons conducting the recruitment process on behalf of the Administrator.
  7. Your personal data will not be transferred outside the European Economic Area to a third country or international organizations.
  8. Your personal data will be stored until the Administrator completes the recruitment process for the position you applied for or, in the case of consent to the processing of data also for the purposes of future recruitment, for a period of one year.
  9. You have the right to access your personal data, receive a copy of it, and the right to rectify, erase, limit processing, the right to object and the right to withdraw consent to the processing of personal data at any time, without affecting the legality of processing carried out on the basis of consent given before its withdrawal. Declaration of withdrawal of consent to the processing of personal data requires its submission in writing or electronically to the e-mail address of the Administrator.
  10. You have the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Office for Personal Data Protection (address: Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů, Pplk. Sochora 27, 170 00 Praha 7) if you consider that the processing of your personal data violates the legal provisions on personal data protection.
  11. Your personal data shall not be subject to automated decision-making, including profiling.
  12. All personal data processed by the Administrator are protected using reasonable technical and organizational measures and security procedures to protect them against unauthorized access or unauthorized use.
